We have a vacancy for a Buildings Manager reporting to the Estates Director.
Buildings Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 p.a. DOE.
Reports to: Estates Director
Hours of work: 37.5 Hours per week
The Role
The Buildings Manager is responsible for the efficient management of the College estate and its buildings. This includes planned, preventative, reactive maintenance and project works. They will have a shared responsibility for ensuring that the buildings of the College are kept in good repair and appearance, fulfil their College function and comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.
You will have a qualification in a property related discipline i.e. HND or Degree in Building Services, Construction, Facilities Management or Surveying.
You will also have excellent leadership and people management skills with experience of managing the co-ordination of all maintenance, in both modern and historic buildings.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work for the second oldest of the 31 Colleges in the University of Cambridge. Salary and Benefits
The salary for the post is between GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 p.a. DOE. In addition, the College offers a generous defined benefit pension scheme, membership of a medical cashback scheme, and lunch in college during working hours.
