Conveyancing Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a small and well established law firm in Henley. You will be assisting fee earners with their caseload from initial instruction to post completion. Our client is seeking a candidate with a professional approach to clients; good customer service skills; advanced IT and typing skills and will have the ability to work to deadlines by prioritising own workload effectively.
You must have experience working within a residential property team as you will provide direct support the fee earners to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency.
Duties include:
File opening and closing
Assisting with the billing process
Completing ID checks
Conducting Land Registry Searches and Applications
Liaising with clients
Dealing with post completion matters
General administration including filing, scanning, photocopying etc.
The person:
Previous experience within a Residential Property department is essential
Keen eye for detail
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage a busy workload
Good IT skills, including experience with case management systems
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent client care and communication skills
