About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Process Technologist to join our factory process team at our Newport site which produce 'best in class' ready meals predominantly for M&S. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and 'no two days the same' environment, making it a great place to work.
You will be required to develop products from concept handover through the factory to launch. Factory trials will include meat, sauce, rice & veg cooking, chicken frying and high care chilled assembly. As a development technologist you will take ownership several products at a time, working with the team to complete trials, gather information/data, review, assess product and ensure a successful launch. Your products should be launched to the correct quality, on time and to the correct margin. You will also assist in the coordination of internal and external customer visits and gain the opportunity to present to the customer with support from the team.
About you:
?? Take ownership and responsibility for your workload.
?? Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate.
?? Problem solving.
?? Organised / ability to plan workload.
?? Computer literate.
?? Ideally educated to degree level or 3 years in the technical aside of the industry.
?? Commercial awareness.
?? Flexibly with working hours.
