Your new role
The Bids team is fundamental to the success of EMIS. So much so, that we have created a brand new opportunity for a proactive, organised and commercially minded Associate Bid Manager to join our growing function. This is a fantastic development opportunity for an ambitious, confident and collaborative individual to add real value and progress within the dynamic and transformative commercial team.
Initially the role will involve owning bid administration and co-ordination, including; managing the Bids inbox and MS Teams platform, filtering and tracking bid opportunities, attending and contributing to internal meetings and directly supporting our Bid Manager, Kate. Once you are confident with the tasks mentioned, you will then gain additional responsibility and begin to own smaller bids (up to GBP500k), in line with the EMIS bid process and see them through to completion.
Alongside your day-to-day task, there are a number of projects to get involved with, including creating bid content libraries, standard templates, delivering training and running masterclasses for a number of stakeholders across the business.
Who you'll be
We want to make sure you're set for success so the key skills we're looking for in the role are below. We know not everyone ticks all the boxes and we'll provide training on some of the areas if you're the right person for the job.
* Fantastic IT skills - intermediate/advance in all MS packages
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage relationships with senior stakeholders effectively
* A personable, proactive and self-starter approach
* Superb attention to detail
* Brilliant organisational skills and the ability to deliver at pace
* Previous experience in a Bids/ Commercial or Projects team would be beneficial but not essential
What we'll give you
We can offer you a great package, a really flexible working environment and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary things. We understand the value that a diverse team brings to our organisation. We respect and value our people for what they do and the impact they can have, and we create an environment that supports everyone to bring their best selves to work, every day. Our culture is inclusive and supportive. If you think you are right for us, we will make it work for you.
Next steps
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a pre-loaded video interview with questions designed by the Bids team. CV's are great but we want to get to know you and provide the opportunity for you to bring your application to life, keep an eye on your inbox
