Our Client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding business. You will be working for a well-established company working within the steel fabrication, construction, and architectural industry.
You will be responsible for overseeing the transport of products to suppliers and customers, processing orders and providing excellent customer service throughout the full order cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and deadlines are achieved.
Logistics Coordinator Role:
* Facilitate, organise and plan the transport of products
* Manage orders and arrange stock to ensure client requirements are met
* Communicate with shop floor, suppliers and customers
* Help out on shop floor when required (labelling, packaging etc)
* Maintain record logs and prepare reports for management
* Manage activities throughout the order and transportation process to ensure deadlines are met
Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous logistics and customer service experience
* Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities
* Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel etc
* Ability to prioritise and multitask
