Location: Newark
Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP22,000
Contract: Full Time, permanent
CRA Legal is working with a reputable, locally renowned law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal. Our client is responding to an influx in workload after growth in their team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business who are going from strength to strength.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supporting a team of fee earners
Supporting file management tasks
Dealing with exchange of contracts and completion
Prepare and submit land registration forms
Prepare and submit SDLT
Supporting with file openings, providing quotations
Communicate with clients, various stakeholders, estate agents and solicitors via phone, email and post
Supporting a fee earner with clerical support throughout the residential conveyancing transition - purchases & sales
Supporting with searches
Drafting documents, obtaining, processing, reporting, scanning, sending and filing
Updating case management system and portals
General administrative support within a busy conveyancing team
Preparing documentation, packs, files, notices, deeds and completions
Liaising with property / conveyancing solicitors, providing support
Other duties where required
Required Attributes:
Recent experience working in a conveyancing or property law environment
Experience working with a case management system
