Quality and Curriculum Manager - Employability Training Programmes

Based: Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire

Full Time - Permanent Position

Salary: GBP32k to GBP35k (Negotiable)

OVERVIEW

V Selective are recruiting on behalf of our long standing client ... a well established, award winning training provider with exciting growth plans ... They currently have an exciting new vacancy for a Quality and Curriculum Manager to work alongside the Employability Performance Manager, Quality Director and Employability Tutors to deliver high quality Employability programmes and continually improve the performance of staff.

ROLE INCLUDES:

* Manage a quality orientated delivery with sustainable improvements that evidences impact for all learners.

* Conduct qualitative and quantitative audits and reviews as required to ensure excellent quality of delivery and a fully compliant workforce.

* Develop and promote high quality curriculum delivery.

* Maintain good practice aligned to Awarding Organisation standards and Ofsted requirements

* Support with self-assessment and development planning activities.

* To assure the Quality of Training across the Employability division, by implementing, supporting and monitoring curriculum development to ensure all learners benefit from high quality programmes and positive outcomes.

* Co-ordinate the development of a curriculum that is ambitious and designed to give all learners a positive learning experience

* Provide delivery staff with information and support materials, as required, supporting the programme delivery. This includes supporting the revision and or development of new materials within the learner management system.

* Support and coordinate the design of programme delivery models that meet the needs of all learners and employers with positive outcomes.

* Support delivery staff with the progression of learners through milestones and preparation for gateway

* Plan and monitor delivery staff practices to meet the demands of high quality provision across the learning journey from starting point to completion

* Plan, operate and evaluate Internal Quality Assurance Systems including policy, procedures and practices through coaching and standardisation activities

* To work with the Employability Performance Manager identifying learners at risk and any subsequent trends

* Assure the quality of learning in the wider context.

* Ensure Learner voice is captured, analysed and used to inform improvements and provision

* Monitor the wider development of learners to achieve their full potential

* Implement resources to support delivery staff to prepare learners for life in Modern Britain, promoting Equality and Diversity, the Prevent Duty and British values

Key Skill & Abilities

* Must have experience of working in a quality assurance / curriculum manager role in previous roles

* Must have experience of quality assurance for employability programmes e.g. Functional Skills, Employability Certificate

* Must have experience in learner observations

* Must hold a current Internal Quality Assurance qualification

* Must have an excellent understanding of Ofsted

* Must hold a Full UK driving licence

* Be flexible with a positive attitude, able to ope under pressure and be to be professional at all times

* Be able to work comfortably with employers and learners on all levels with a variety of personalities.

* Ensure timely and effective communication with staff, learners and employers to support excellent outcomes for learners.

* Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
