Part Time Vacancy
Major Automotive have a Part Time Vacancy for a Transport Administrator to work for an established company who are one of the UK's largest bulk food powder and liquids logistics provider.
Hours of work are:
* Day shift
* 30 hours per week
* Mon - Fri
* 10.00 am - 17.00 pm
* No Weekends
Pay Rate:
* Salary is negotiable dependent on skills / experience
Duties are varied and will include:
* Ensuring all transport data is accurate and updated on all relevant systems
* Ensuring that all paperwork is completed and signed
* Managing and recording driver hours
* Liaising with vehicle maintenance technicians and ensuring all vehicle issues are reported and updated on the system and that mandatory vehicle checks are carried out
* Communicating with all drivers on a regular basis and updating the Transport Planners / Managers of any issues or queries
Skills required:
* Experience of working within the transport industry
* Time management skills
* Knowledge of logistics systems
* An understanding of transport regulations
* Competent IT skills
