Mariposa Care Group has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Carer (Days) to join their team at Derwent Care Home in Newcastle Road, Low Westwood near Consett, Newcastle upon Tyne. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return we will offer you a salary of GBP9.91 per hour.

What will you be doing as our Senior Carer?
Duties of a Senior Care Assistant are varied, and no two days will be the same. All our residents are individuals and they deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties will include:
- Providing, overseeing and supervising and monitoring daily routines to ensure consistent high standards of resident care is achieved - Support senior staff, where appropriate, to carry out their clinical responsibilities for residents and assist with administration of medication in accordance with medication procedures - Uphold public trust and confidence and be accountable for the quality of your work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills
What we are looking for in our Senior Carer:
- Kind-hearted senior care assistant who has the required experience - Appropriate Level 3 qualifications or working towards them - You must have the right values and behaviours to work in our residential care service
