We are working alongside a school in Barnsley that are seeking Teaching Assistants to work in the school and assist the class duty with duties.
As a Teaching Assistant in the school you will also be responsible for working with the children either 1:1 or in small groups, and help where required.
The School are looking for a committed, dynamic Teaching Assistant who can manage behaviour effectively and support young people transitioning from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. The position will see the candidate work closely with a fun and committed team where you will have the opportunity to implement ideas and contribute to the progress of the pupils.
What experience do I need?
No experience is necessary; however, it would be beneficial if you have referable child based experience through anyone of the following:
Cubs, Brownies, Girl Guides etc. Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Mentor, Tutor Sports Coach Volunteering as part of university study Youth and/or community work Pupil Referral Units (PRU's) Children Care Homes ALN/SEND Schools Independent Living Departments
