Forklift Driver Nights

BARR Personnel are currently recruiting 4 skilled Counterbalance/Reach Forklift Drivers for a our client in Ipswich working 11pm till a8m Monday to Friday on a Permanent Contract.

BARR Personnel also has ad-hoc, temporary work to cover sickness, holiday and last minute bookings, however, these tend to have the potential of leading to other roles if the right candidates shows the right attitude and competence.

You will be working at our clients central Ipswich Hub and the successful forklift drivers will be required to turn their hand at a wide and varied range of tasks on a daily basis. The role is focused around the Counterbalance Forklift, but, at times the need to get out of the cab to support co-workers will be unloading containers and general warehousing.

Minimum standards required are the following;

* counterbalance and reach forklift licence (passed or refreshed within the last 3 years)
* good communication skill with other colleagues on site
* safety boots and hi-viz
* loading and unloading pallets on and off trailers
* stacking pallets in the respective areas
* manual handling such as re-work when needed)
* operational duties which fall under your jurisdiction
