Position
We are looking for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our Insurer Relations Team. The key purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the team - for example, responding to enquiries, preparing documentation and correspondence and updating key systems.
Key responsibilities
* Typing of development agreements, change requests, letters and other general correspondence
* Chasing of orders for inclusion in monthly order intake targets
* Maintenance of internal logs and processing of reports from internal systems
* Accurate requisitioning of invoices at correct payment stages and processing of credit note requests
* Filing of completed orders and invoices, closed or declined estimates
* Regular maintenance of customer presentations, product bulletins, sales campaign documentation and sales collateral
* Tracking and management of actions resulting from Insurer Review meetings
* Setting Team Meeting Agendas, record minutes and actions
Qualifications
* 5 GCSE's at grade C or above, must include Maths and English (essential)
Experience
* Prior office experience would be of benefit, but not essential, if the candidate has history of using MS office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint), and can demonstrate strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written, telephone/video conference and face to face)
* Numerate and with good analytical skills
* Able to prioritise several tasks simultaneously
* Good organisational skills - thorough and accurate, paying attention to detail
* Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent time management skills
