The role:
 
- Salary of up to £45,000 per annum DOE
- Up to 10% employer contribution towards Aviva's Group Personal Pension Plan
- Free on-site parking or in local area
- Working hours: 37 hours per week (8:30 – 17:00)
 
As the Metering & Billing Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of SES Water’s metering and billing processes, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional service.
 
Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager, you will focus on daily performance, as well as identifying performance trends, creating new initiatives and sharing continuous improvement ideas with our Service Improvement function.
 
Some of your duties will include:
 
- Managing our metering programme and billing campaign cycles
- Overseeing and motivating the Meter Reading Team Leader and Billing Team Leader
- Ensuring that key department processes are frequently analysed and reported on
- Identifying and resolving any gaps or process failures
- Acting as an escalation point for any customer issues
 
Other organisations may call this role Contact Centre Manager, Call Centre Manager, Customer Services Manager, or Customer Metering and Billing Manager.
 
About you:
 
At SES Water, we recruit based on potential, values and fit, rather than just experience and qualifications. We’re seeking a Metering & Billing Manager with:
 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to design, implement and manage robust and measurable feedback mechanisms
- Experience of managing team leaders and team of advisors in a contact centre environment
- Revenue control experience
- Experience of billing processes and management
 
It would also be great if you had a full driving licence, but this isn’t essential.
