Maintenance Operative

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to work for one of the fastest-growing maintenance teams in the UK within the retail and distribution sector. This is a static role covering a large building, so ideal for someone who is happy travelling to the same place of work on a daily basis. This is a temporary position, so ideal for someone looking for something over the coming months.

The hourly rate of pay is GBP12.23/hour PAYE working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week at the site in Aylesford. There will be opportunity for weekend and evening work should you wish to earn more money throughout the year. The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for all of the reactive and planned maintenance within the building, this could include basic elements of plumbing, carpentry, painting and any other general fabric maintenance work. The planned maintenance will include testing of fire alarms, generators, testing for legionella and emergency light testing. Full training will be given on this.
