TAX MANAGER - MANCHESTER- SALARY GBP40,000 - GBP60,000

Our client is an established and highly regarded independent firm that is expanding across the Northwest due to market growth.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Tax and managing a team of 6, you will be expected to assist with:
The delivery of the Tax strategic framework with regular involvement with tax planning and complex tax issues in conjunction with Head/Directors/Partners.
Keeping the Head/Director/Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.
Developing your own network of contacts internally and externally and start winning own work and cross selling.
The review and delivery for the final advice to clients.
Responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided, and maintaining regular contact with clients.
Coaching and developing junior members of staff.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified and will be working in a similar role covering both corporate and personal tax. You are required to have an in depth, up to date, knowledge of taxation with specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues. You will require the ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably whilst being able to actively seek opportunities for developing new clients and for selling new services to existing clients. Project and staff management experience is essential along with experience of dealing with client senior management.
