The starting salary for this role is GBP17,554.40 per annum (FTE GBP21,943) based on a 28.8 hour working week.
We currently have a part-time (28.8 hours) Administration Assistant vacancy which is based within our Frimley Park Hospital team, Portsmouth Road, Frimley, GU16 7UJ.
We are looking for someone to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Adult Social Care (ASC) team within an integrated health service. Please note that the ASC Team provides a 7 day service (Mon-Fri 8-8 & Sat/Sun 9-5) and the admin team provide support Mon-Fri 8-5, so you will need to be flexible regarding working hours and days. You may also be required to travel to other sites in Surrey to support operational functions.
With a flexible approach, you will be well organised and able to work under pressure as on occasion there will be tight deadlines. In addition to this, you will have good customer service and IT skills. This includes good excel skills as the role will involve quick and accurate data entry on the mainframe database and excel spreadsheets. You will need to be able to interpret data recorded on Social Care and Health systems, and at times you will need to produce and maintain reports.
You will also have good communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be expected to deal with telephone enquiries and a wide range of correspondence, case recording and scanning duties. As well as this, you will have the skills and experience to take notes and minutes of meetings.
With previous experience of working in a busy office environment, you will be able to work well as part of a team and within existing working protocols and procedures. You will also be proactive and use your initiative within the scope of the job role.
