Mechanical Technician (Maintenance)

Circa GBP33,970 with allowances ( Further OTE in Excess of GBP38,000) + Overtime Paid at Premium + Call out Rota every other weekend (Premium call out rates) + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Great opportunities for Training and Development
Hours of Work - Rotating shift pattern every 2 weeks: 07:00 - 15:30 (Mon - Fri), 15:00 - 23:30 (Mon - Fri).
Mechanical Technician required for a well-established manufacturer, offering a role with a personable working environment, longevity and opportunities for further development. The company are willing to offer the successful candidate electrical training.
The Successful Mechanical Technician will have industrial experience within a maintenance based role. You will be competent working on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gears, bearings and motors. Those with welding, fabrication or light electrical experience will be highly desirable. You will be mechanically qualified and/or time served. Those with experience of manufacturing, energy or service engineering will transfer well, although those from other industrial environments or ex forces are encouraged to apply.

The Mechanical Technical Role:
* Working on a variety of production and energy conversion machinery within the maintenance department.
* Combination of reactive and planned preventive maintenance.
* Ensuring all maintenance works is documented appropriately on maintenance logging system.
* Ensure appropriate handovers are completed in detail.
* Ensuring all H&S policies and SOPs are followed.
The Successful Mechanical Technician:
* You will have industrial experience within a maintenance based role.
