We require a motivated and versatile individual for this interesting and varied role for immediate full time employment to join our small dedicated professional team. The position would be working under the Director of Disposals and Auction Manager learning how to manage the marketing and sale of all types of business assets. The applicant must be practical, able to work on own initiative and be prepared to travel to sites around the South East of England and occasionally beyond. A full UK driving license is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled intelligent individual with a good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, a diligent work ethic, a sound moral compass and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise different tasks.
With the potential to train and study for membership of our professional body, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and may therefore suit a graduate. The job will involve a combination of office work (such as preparing marketing materials, dealing with enquiries and sales negotiating, uploading photographs and descriptions of assets to our online auction software and generally overseeing the online auction process) and site work (such as preparing an industrial site for online auction and overseeing public viewings and removals of machinery and other assets). The candidate must be IT literate with very good English literacy communication skills, and able to cope competently with day to day office work, communicating politely and effectively with clients, buyers and colleagues alike. In terms of the site work, they must be physically able to move items around and be prepared to clean machines to present and display them ready for photographing. They must also be observant and practically minded with an eye for detail and use of common sense in terms of proactively spotting potential problems before they occur, especially with regard to health and safety.
