Senior Accounts Assistant
Photocentric Ltd based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and the US is an award-winning manufacturer of 3D printers and resins. We are now recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing accounts department. This role will suit a commercially aware accounts person who likes to be kept busy with a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities for our Senior Accounts Assistant:
- Assisting the Head of Finance to deliver financial controls required within the business
- Financial reporting, both internally and externally
- Assisting with product costing
- Assisting with grant claims and submissions
- Assisting with R&D Tax Credit calculations
- Management and maintenance of business data
- Leveraging financial data to improve business processes, including Key Performance Indicators and strategic reports
- Assist with optimising financial processes
- Maintain all systems with a high level of accuracy
- Providing periodic assistance to sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll
Required Skills and experience for our Senior Accounts Assistant:
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Desire to work on various finance projects
- Sales and purchase ledger experience
- AAT/CIMA qualified or part qualified
- High level of computer literacy, to include Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using ERP systems an advantage
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable, as is import/export experience and payroll experience.
