Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in West Bromwich. You will be working as part of a long standing team where you will be partly responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function but then also be able to lend a hand to other areas of accounts. Your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACS/CHAPs, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, processing employee expenses and processing subcontractor invoices. You will also be required to support the finance manager with nominal coding, month end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and other ad hoc accounting duties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for a new challenge. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work under minimal supervision, have previous working knowledge of a computerised accounting system and be competent working with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups).
