Tate are working with an NHS Trust in Exeter to recruit for an Interim Buyer (Band 5), the position can offer a flexi/hybrid working solution. The role will support the management of the procurement across ICT, Estates/Logistics, Fleet and Corporate portfolios and conduct tendering activity and support the team in providing advice to budget holders and ensure value for money.
Main duties of the role:
?? The overseeing and release of all compliant purchase orders
?? Day-to-Day Purchasing including sourcing products, catalogue updates/product changes.
?? Assist in the production, collation and dispatch of invitation to tender and quotation documentation, distribution of received tenders and the processing of contract award documentation.
?? Assisting the Procurement Category Manager and Head of Procurement to formulate the annual and long-term work programme and to agree it with Customer Departments in order to meet organisational objectives.
?? Monitor and manage the performance of suppliers and action as appropriate, e.g. contract reviews, performance monitoring, and resolution of disputes with the support from the Assistant Procurement Manager /Procurement Category Manager.
The ideal candidate will have previous NHS experience with significant experience in understanding and applying Strategic Sourcing methodologies. You will have experience of contract management and some project management experience.
An understanding of EU Procurement Law and Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Code of Conduct will also be required.
