Responsible for: Supervision of activities undertaken in the South East region of England, including, but not limited to, support of Engineers and Regional office, provision of technical support, audits as required and normal engineering activities.
Main Duties:
* Monitor activities of engineering team and ensure quality of work, including report information.
* Act as site supervisor or on-site lead on replacement and larger works.
* Review training needs of engineers in area and make recommendations to management.
* Conduct toolbox talks, engineer audits, van inspections and site surveys.
* Liaise and support sales staff in order to produce technical quotations.
* Actively participate in an on-call Rota within the Region.
* Conform to and utilise best practice within Health & Safety at all times.
* Act as first point of contact for all technical queries.
Person specification:
* Full driving license is essential.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Willingness to undertake ongoing Health & Safety training as directed by the Company's QHSE Dept, keeping up to date with the latest health and safety guidelines and training.
* Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
* Preferred to possess industry recognized qualifications & training to demonstrate competency including; IPAF, PASMA, NVQ 2 in Loading Bay Equipment, etc.
* Relevant experience and/or qualifications in an allied trade.
* Preferably have knowledge of Auto-doors, Barriers, Gates and Scissor Lifts.
* Willingness to undertake competency, product & H&S training.
* Problem solving. Ability to deal with complex issues and provide solutions.
* Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
