Are you looking to join a leading utilities company working in an Alliance with Anglian Water, Barhale and Morrison's?
If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a customer- centric, Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team throughout the region.

About the role

To work locally under a central Partner Commercial Lead as part of the Commercial Team overseen by the Commercial Manager assisting with the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety. Work within the project teams liaising with the Partner Commercial Lead, Project Engineers, Procurement Coordinators, Planners, Site Team Leaders and Site Managers.

Assist in improving cost efficiency and creating an environment of out-performance. the role will allow you to manage, coach and mentor the commercial team.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in the role you will be a commercially focused, degree qualified (ideally chartered) individual with surveying experience ideally within the utilities industry. You will have NEC3 framework experience and a solid understanding of Alliance Contract delivery. You will need to lead the area commercial team and ensure the business commercial requirements are delivered both at project and business unit level.

If you have strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of budgeting, cost control, risk mitigation, and business targets and reporting requirements, then this is the role for you.
