My client is an established business based in Sutton Coldfield who are now looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager to work in-house. This is a full-time role based at their Covid secure office.

Role responsibilities:

* Day to day running of the office, reporting any business issues to the Directors

* Providing assistance to the Operational Director, including diary management, emails, letters, phone calls, arranging site visits and recruitment interviews

* Co-ordination of administrative staff, ensuring workload is distributed efficiently and tasks are actioned in a timely manner

* Ensuring the smooth running of the communication between office staff and operational staff out in the field

* Co-ordination of staff holidays

* Payroll - become proficient with the full process for holiday cover

* Reconciliation of supplier invoices

* Aged debt analysis

* Bank payments

* Verifying mileage claims and fuel card reconciliation

* Assisting with the preparation of quotation and tender documentation, including financial input and assisting with formatting presentations (using PowerPoint)

* Liaising with HR outsourcing company to deal with HR related correspondence

* Taking minutes for office meetings

* Any other adhoc administrative duties

Essential requirements:

* Previous experience managing an office environment is essential

* Accounting and finance experience, sales/purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll

* IT literate, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels

* Able to multi-task and prioritise tasks

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

* Self-motivated and disciplined

* Organised and methodical with strong numerical abilities

* Able to work as part of a collaborative team
