Are you a recruitment consultant that loves what they do but doesn't like the cold calling sales aspect of your job?
Ever thought of working in house for an organisation and making a bigger impact with one company rather than many?
Do you have a genuine passion for getting really great people into really great jobs without trying to 'shoehorn' them into roles you're not quite sure about?
If you can answer 'Yes' to any of these questions, then I might have just the company for you.
The company I'm working with is dynamic, inspiring and has a fabulous culture to work within. They take their people development seriously and give their staff a lot of opportunity to really develop themselves and build an excellent career path.
This role of internal recruitment specialist has come about due to upcoming projects and an expansion of its client base. The company provide business solutions for companies across the globe and have a strong track record of success.
The plan is for the Internal Recruitment Specialist to work pro-actively in building the long term vision and ongoing talent pipelines whilst dealing with the 'reactive' recruitment needs.
Ideally we are looking for someone with excellent recruitment, communication and people skills as this role is central to the continued growth and future plans for the company.
We really need someone who absolutely loves what they do, loves the thought of internal recruitment and playing a bigger part in a company's continued success, puts customer experience at the heart of delivery and has an infectious energy that people want to buy into.
Long term commitment is also high on the agenda. Not only do we want new recruits, we want to make sure those new recruits stay within the business and before they even start, that they feel like they know the company based on how the Internal recruiter has explained it and supported them.
This is about delivering excellence whilst filling jobs and building your brand with passion.
To give you a little more clarity, the sort of day-to-day duties might consist of some of the following:
* Building relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and ensure strong, relevant job descriptions are used
* Sourcing suitable candidates for roles via various methods
* Ensuring a pipeline of candidates as well as working with external agencies
* Utilising existing recruitment marketing methods and consistently sharing relevant content (including current vacancies) across social channels
* Thinking about new or innovative ways to recruit/find passive talent in sometimes challenging markets
* Arranging, coordinating, conducting and managing interviews and the interview process
* Ensuring data and statistics are utilised to best effect for future planning
* Building close relationships with Schools, Colleges and Universities to help with talent pipelining for the future (this would include attending careers events etc.)
* Becoming the 'go to' person for support/guidance when a new role is needed by a line manager
As you can see, this is an involved role but what a great opportunity!
This is recruitment at its best so a background in recruitment is essential.
What we also need is strong organisational and administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, knowledge of recruitment law and legal obligations and excellent attention to detail.
In return there is a salary range between GBP28 and GBP32k, a truly great benefits package, flexible working hours (including hybrid working if desired) and career development.
