Recruitmint are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an opportunity to work for a company who provide specialist laundry, linen hire and work wear services as a Machine Operator.
Temporary to permanent opportunity. In this role you will be expected to work on various machines that clean, dry and fold linen, towels, and workwear clothing. To be shipped out to the hospitality industry with all training given including:
Ensure the lines for the machines are running smoothly
Supporting other team members using the relevant equipment and machinery
Checking off for quality control and set up for next batch
Assist with the washing and drying using the machines
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience using machinery and come from a similar background although training will be given.
Details:
?? Weekly shifts - Monday-Friday 08.00am-16.15pm shift pattern. 37 hours per week paid weekly. Breaks unpaid (2x 10mins and a half hour per shift)
?? Hourly rate - GBP9.51 per hour - paid for all 5 shifts (GBP9.01 per hour if you do not work the full 37 hours)
Overtime rate after working 37 hours - GBP14.26 per hour
