We are looking for a talented Technical Operations Analyst to join our team.

As our new Technical Operations Analyst, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a range of business project, providing guidance and advice where necessary in order to meet the demands of the business. You will be responsible for providing day to day support to the operation of a specialist lender acting as a liaison between m2l Operations, Key Services and relevant third parties ensuring departmental objectives are met.

Key responsibilities:

To investigate, resolve and prevent issues occurring within more 2 life operations, with a particular focus on continual improvement of systems and processes.
To assist and provide support to other members of the team in ensuring deliverables are provided within SLA. i.e. Reporting deliverables.
Report & solution testing and management of the implementation of fixes and running of scripts.
To demonstrate and continuously embed the company values in every aspect of the role.
To liaise with the business operations teams and any relevant third parties (Solicitors, Brokers, IT Suppliers, Compliance etc.) to improve the customer journey both pre and post completion.
Responsible for the day-to-day configuration and maintenance of the core processing systems, including Gilt rate maintenance, product set-up, rate changes, new funder creation, letter/email templates, new user set-up, knowledge-based user guides.
Lead or assist on m2l projects, as a business and/or system expert to ensure the change programme delivers against pre-agreed timescales and objectives.
Continual review of manual processes within the Operational areas and within the Technical Operations team with a view to either eradicating them or if not possible then providing maximum automation and control as possible.
Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders to maintain quality standards and relationships.
To keep fully up to date and conversant with lending criteria, products and special schemes.
To comply with all FCA policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.

Essential Skills

A practical knowledge of the system development life cycle, change management processes and process improvement are all essential.
Ability to multi-task and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills and exceptional written, communication and excel spreadsheet skills.
Commitment to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is of the highest quality.
Highly motivated, confident and co-operative.
Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
Influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to maximise performance through others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Visio.
Highly driven with the ambition to succeed.
Understanding of Prince2 and or similar methodologies.
Able to organise and support meetings of 10 people or more including the recording of minutes.Desirable Skills

Experience of mortgage lending processes and criteria is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
Experience of working within the Financial Services industry and in particular in the secured residential lending arena is preferred but not essential.
