Provide data analytics and business insight to support the Pricing and Insight Manager
You will use the system Python and SQL querying skills to maintain and develop data and business insight on information/data requested or provided to you.
What to expect:
Responsible for the extraction and manipulation of large datasets from several data sources
Work in partnership with IT MI team, Finance, Sales and Operations to enable the delivery of high quality and trusted MI reporting & analysis to support business decision making.
Recognise opportunities for reporting improvements and proactively drive change through simplification and automation.
Ensure complete system documentation is maintained to support developed solutions
Production and analysis of the business gross margin analysis using Python. Includes automation of processes, composition and presentation of data and investigation and re-analysis of costs. Plus full system documentation
Automation, production and maintenance of business dashboards.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by the role.
What we are looking:
Proven experience in reviewing and interpreting data
Python (or R) programming experience (Essential)
SQL querying skills
Good understanding of Excel
Strong analytical and numeracy abilities
Able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
Ability to solve problems
Accuracy and attention to detail
Methodical and logical approach
Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
Previous experience of PowerBI - Desirable
