We are working with a Chartered Surveying practice who provide a wide range of development consultancy services principally to public sector.
They seek a Development Consultant to provide support for major development schemes throughout the Country from supporting City centre regeneration schemes to supporting the acquisition and disposal of major residential schemes throughout the Country.
Development Consultant duties:
As noted above, the role is extremely varied and training will be provided on an on-going basis with a general focus around development appraisal, valuation and development process. The role will incorporate the following range of skills and requirements;
1. Valuation advice, including preparation of Red Book and statutory valuations, primarily for a range of uses and assets, including development sites.
2. Providing advice, undertaking key tasks and in some cases providing lead role for implementation of the property development process.
3. Preparation of Development and Viability Appraisals for a wide range of development schemes.
4. Marketing and Disposal of development sites for a variety of uses.
5. Feasibility Services including undertaking market assessments, site/options appraisals
and development advice.
6. Advice on the delivery of a wide range of schemes which may include land assembly, developer procurement, feasibility and viability assessment of often large and complex schemes.
