Are you a school/college based accountant/financial officer?
Do you have experience in this area - specifically with education based accountancy and are looking for a temporary role either now or in the very near future?
One of our partnered colleges in the Tameside area is looking to take on a temporary accountant who can support their Chief Financial Officer.
This is an accountancy type role, with the successful accountant expected to be experienced in doing a similar role in a school/college setting. The role will include supporting with year end between now and Christmas (possibly longer).
The successful accountant could take on a part time or full-time role with flexibility - 3 or 5 days each week. There will also be an element of supporting this college and the whole trust (2 other secondary schools in Tameside) through their audit.
Part time or full-time school/college based Accountant
Experience of supporting in a similar role within an education setting
Start ASAP until at least Christmas supporting with the college's year end
Outstanding sixth form college based in Tameside
Any experience of an accountancy type role in a school or college is ideal
This sixth form college is located close to Oldham, Tameside and the nearby area. This is easily accessible via public transport in the local area and is very well serviced by the local bus routes from Oldham, Stockport and Central Manchester as well as the Metrolink and train line. Those driving will find the sixth form very easy to get to, with a large on-site car park.
The sixth form boasts excellent facilities and is the further education establishment of choice in the Tameside area.
