We are seeking yet anouther Trainee Talent Coordinator/ Resource Consultant, based at our new modern workspace, Enterprise Centre, Lennoxtown, G66 7LL. This role is paid initially at National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week (3 days per week), with full training and development to help you develop your skills in the world of recruitment consultancy.
Do I qualify for this government funded 6 month trainee position? Are you aged 16 to 24-years-old and are you registered for universal credit? You then maybe eligible for this opportunity.
The Trainee Talent Coordinator/ Resource Consultant will be trained to aid and provide assistance to the principal consultant's busy recruitment section and to source quality candidates for specified vacancies within the Energy & Low Carbon market sectors. You will be responsible for using a variety of sourcing methods to generate new candidates, the Trainee Talent Coordinator/Resource Consultant will be eventually trained to assist with managing the majority of a recruitment process on behalf of clients and provide general administrative support for the principal consultant.
The post holder will also be taught to conduct quality: candidate generation techniques, create & maintain job seekers/candidate spreadsheets & database, candidate shortlisting for specific vacancies, through to accurate candidate screening & interviewing techniques via phone and video facilities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Professional self-starter with a strong work ethic and results orientated
Ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels
People focused with good listening skills
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative
Highly developed communication skills - both written and oral
Ability to work effectively within a team as well as autonomously
Attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Previous sales/customer focused experience will be highly regarded

Kirkintilloch provides a direct route to the main motorway network of the M80 and M73. These provide excellent routes in to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Bus services are also available from Lennoxtown and Kirkintilloch with direct routes to Glasgow city centre. We have ample car parking, there is also a 5 ?? km old railway foot path that is cyclist friendly for a non-road commute directly to the office from Kirkintilloch. There are security bike stands right outside the front door of the offices with modern shower facilities for those wanting to run or bike in.
