Do you want to join a well established business who've experienced strong growth every year for a decade? Throughout the pandemic they've grown and have achieved 150% of target for the last few months.
We're looking to add to our Stock Control team, currently we have 2 experienced Stock Controllers. Both have been with our stable business for a number of years. You'll need experience of stock control within a product that isn't just a number of units as our products are cut and sold in different shapes and sizes. Someone from a Sheet Metal or Plastics or Timber background would be great.
Your day to day duties will be to;
-Receive and count stock items, record quantities on our system.
-Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
-Record stored items in an orderly and accessible manner for warehouses, or other areas.
-Ensure and oversee marked stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labelling equipment.
-Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. E.g. Hand held devises.
-Provide assistance and direction to warehouse, or storage yard staff.
-Assist with and produce correct paperwork for the disposal/return of damaged or defective items to suppliers.
