Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Chertsey/St Albans

Crest Nicholson are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to oversee and lead procedures for our Chiltern division. You will be working closely with the Site Management team on our New Build Construction sites and developments with an average between 10-20 sites at one time. Reporting to the Group Head of HSE, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Company's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, leading our 'Be Safe' campaign and standards consistently.
To be a successful candidate, we're looking for a flexible team player with excellent communication skills with strong commercial awareness. You will engage in and promote proactive, sensible and cost effective ways of continually improving health, safety and environmental performance.
Applicants must hold Chartered Membership of IOSH (we will consider candidates who are currently an IOSH member working towards Chartership) and have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the Construction sector. An excellent understanding of industry standards and good practice is essential. IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment membership would also be an advantage.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is keen to develop their career and gain invaluable experience and knowledge in an exciting, challenging and rewarding environment, working with experienced and well-established teams.
This role is split between office-based working at our Chertsey and St Albans offices, along with your self-regulated diary spending time on our sites.
