The Company

Property is a thriving industry and one we are proud to be a part of. The property market is ever changing, but the need for businesses to secure the right professional candidates is constant in a competitive market.

Joshua Robert is at the forefront of finding these skilled individuals and our commitment to quality is what has seen us nominated and shortlisted as finalists for regional and national recruitment industry awards.

We're a specialist recruitment agency, with our key strategic focuses within Residential, Rural & Commercial Property, Facilities Management and Construction. We recruit white collar candidates for global corporations as well as smaller entrepreneurial SME's. We are hugely passionate about our sector and have big ambitions within it.

We are a young company formed and operated by some of the UK's top performing recruitment experts. We strive to be the best at everything we do, we're a tight-knit unit, driven to succeed, whilst always putting our customers first. A like-minded individual with the same passion and enthusiasm to match ours is what we are seeking!

We pride ourselves on thinking differently. We empower our staff with autonomy. For example, we have flexible annual leave entitlements and office hours, including home working. We give our people the tools to be successful and then trust them to deliver.

Our office is on the 6th floor we have a fantastic view across the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham. We're a short 2-minute walk from JQ train station and even closer to our favourite bar!

We have a professional and high-performing (yet down to earth) culture. You'll be submersed into our world which includes lots of social activities, lunch clubs, incentive trips, networking, parties and corporate events.

The Role

This is a varied position and will see you being responsible for the operational administration and business management of the office, undertaking PA duties for the MD, and overseeing the weekly payroll for a bank of temporary workers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a dynamic team, whilst understanding the importance of back-office administration functions in supporting members of staff in their roles.

Your new role will involve:

General office management - manage office purchases and equipment etc, main point of contact for our suppliers (plus ensuring we're getting the best deals across the business), and other ad hoc duties.
Providing weekly figures to the Director.
Assisting with weekly payroll for 100+ temporary workers.
Answering any queries relating to weekly payroll.
Ensuring all new workers are fully compliant.
Updating pensions information for temporary workers.
Bank reconciliations (Xero).
Processing expenses.
Set up new starters at Joshua Robert.
Organising staff events.
The Candidate

This is a senior administrative post, and while we are not expecting experience within the recruitment sector, a strong administrative background is essential. Experience using Xero is advantageous but not essential as training will be given. If you have the below traits, we can provide the additional training you may require.

You're passionate about providing a first-class service.
You have strong attention to detail.
You have a good sense of humour and don't take yourself too seriously.
You have a great personality; people can't help but warm to you.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You always act with integrity.
The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis (with flexible/ home working).

If you think you've got what it takes to be a part of our success story, we would love to hear from you
