A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join an establised organisation in the heart of Bolton. Due to continue success and growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Reconciliation Specialist to lead their Reconciliations team on a 6 month contract with the view of going permanent thereafter.

Reporting to the departmental Director, the Reconciliation Specialist will take responsibility for the following duties:

Working in a team to reconcile stock and cash accounts
Identifying system issues and making adjustments and improvements
Resolving complex or serious issues escalated by the team
Making system enhancements
Analysing daily, weekly and monthly reports related to reconciliations
Leading on regulatory reporting
Business partnering with Managers and Directors from other departments to develop strategies and make improvements across the business
Due to the nature of this role and this industry, the Reconciliation Specialist should meet the following skillset:

Experience of working in a high volume transactional envirnoment is essential
Naturally investigative and a problem-solver by nature: must be able to solve problems related to complex reconciliations
an AAT qualification (or similar)
Previous experience of handling complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
Advanced working knowledge of ExcelThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate with a working knowledge of financial Reconciliations with the view to lead a division within one of the North-West's most prestigious employers.
