Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for TUG drivers
We are currently working alongside a large shipping & logistics company based in Hull and Immingham
Due to a recent expansion we are looking for experienced Tug drivers to work in a fast paced shipping environment.
The shifts are ship dependent, however generally fall between 6am - 6pm, the ideal candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to work. They may include evenings and weekends.
This is an ongoing position
The role involves operating tug masters which are utilised for towing mayflower trailers, mafi (role on role off) , semi-trailers (curtainsiders) around the terminal and other areas within the applicable site (inc any port roads/ estates)
Within the tug operators role you fall into a hybrid role linked to pinning/shoe men; This role involves removing/fitting the container (CTR) pins (shoes) to the corners of the CTR unit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Cargo Handling In Ports (CHIPs) Certification
* Tug operator's licence (IN DATE)
