Our client, a successful and well-respected leader in their field, is seeking an Accounts Assistant & Office Assistant to join their small Brackley team on a fixed term contract basis for the next 6 months.
Working in a rural location, this opportunity will require someone to be hands-on in all aspects of finance administration and office support.
Responsibilities for this Accounts Assistant & Office Support contract include:
Accounts (70% of this job role).
* Generating sales invoices and posting receipts onto Sage.
* Matching purchase order numbers and inputting purchase invoices within Sage.
* Batching and coding of purchase invoices.
* Dealing with invoice queries.
* Bank and ledger reconciliations.
* Creating and maintaining client and supplier files / records on Sage and company CRM system.
* Supporting month/year end procedures.
Office Administration (30% of this job role).
* Answering incoming telephone calls and diverting them as required.
* Sales order processing / inputting data to Sage, Excel and a bespoke CRM system.
* Responding to emails and telephone enquiries.
* Communicating order information to multiple sites.
* Offering support in shipping administration (experience of 'Delivery at Place' (DAP) and 'Delivery Duty Paid' (DDP) desirable but not essential) .
* Tracking shipments and liaising with clients regarding delivery time or delays.
* General office support administration including archiving and filing.
The candidate should have / be:
* Confident in their finance administration support abilities.
* Experienced in using Sage (or any similar finance software).
* Conversant with MS Office applications.
* Happy to support other areas of the business as and when required.
The successful candidate must be happy to work in a small team and support others as and when required. You must have previous accounts support experience and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy both in the finance function and assisting administratively. A strong level of numeracy is required.
This is a great local opportunity where applicants will need their own transport given our clients' rural location.
Working hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
