AM Recruitment are working with a leading contractor who require a Quantity Surveyor to join the team, due to rapid growth.
Experience within Telecoms/Civils/Utilities/Infrastructure.
Successful candidates will: -
??Take part in joint walk outs (JWOs) with the client's representatives to assess on site civils and cabling requirements.
??Validating completed work and approving of payments by conducting weekly measures with the sub-contractor.
??Ensure any unfinished site works are recorded and reported in a timely manner against internal targets for "part payment "application.
??Report weekly on site measures to the Senior contract manager / contract manager.
??Attend high level meetings with senior management as when required both internally and externally.
??Assist with invoice management
??Track Commercial expenditure and its reporting to the senior team.
??Assist with project cost analysis
??Assist in P+L management
??Assist on AFP'S (application for payments) into the client.
The successful applicant requires: -
??A Full UK Driving License (essential)
??Telecoms / civils related experience from a commercial perspective (desirable)
??NRASWA accreditation - (desirable)
??Experience of UG and OH networks - (desirable)
??Provable Quantity surveying / commercial acumen - (essential)
??Experience of Civils measures - (desirable)
??Experience of cable measures - (desirable)
??Good communication and I.T. skills with a professional attitude (essential)
