Based from home, either Merseyside, Cheshire or the Northwest
My client is a distributor in a range of industrial and commercial cleaning machinery and products. They are now seeking a commercial sales manager who can act as the interface between their Italy HQ, whilst managing commercial negotiations and coordinating a sales network within the UK and Northern Ireland.
You will be the UK coordinator for the company and be responsible for strategy, structure, budgets, people, financial outcomes, and scorecard metrics.
You will develop and implement commercial, sales, and distribution strategies for achieving the company objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements, allocating resources, reviewing progress, making mid-course corrections, in accordance with the general guidelines from the Italian HQ.
Able to optimizs economic and financial results of the company, in terms of business development focused on sales growth, profitability of sales and working capital management, by managing staff.
Salary cGBP40,000 plus company car, plus bonus and benefits
Candidates
* You will ideally be degree educated or qualified by experience within a related field (cleaning machinery or cleaning providers)
* Strong sales background, able to make strategic decisions and analyse market variables to be able to draw up development policies.
* Able to define the positioning of the company with respect to the competition (product range pricing and service) and proactively and positively make and implement decisions.
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken and strong presentation skills.
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with strong problem-solving skills.
* Customer satisfaction orientation, highly organised and good planning skills, with good numerical and statistical analysis
Duties
* Establishing and accomplishing business objectives assigned to the whole company, promoting company's mission and values.
* You will ensure the availability of the resources needed for the operation of business functions according to the company's budget.
* Supports company departments in implementing strategies and achieving company objectives, facilitating change processes.
* Manages and supports the sales network, providing all the tools and information necessary for carrying out its business, maintaining relationships with customers, intensifying exchange and interaction to consolidate and make the relationships fruitful.
* Maintains quality service by establishing working to company standards.
* Builds a company image by collaborating with customers, community organisations, and employees, working to best business practice.
* Ensure the supervision of the sales targets and network and provide all the necessary tools and information to expand the business.
* Report periodical to the HQ turnover, margin, estimation on sales, etc
