We are currently looking for a permanent part time Manufacturing Trainer with good working experience within Electronics to join a busy manufacturing company. The role will support the team in learning technical manufacturing standards, mentoring Production Apprentices and contributing to the ongoing development of the manufacturing team.
The key responsibilities
Day to day support and training on circuit boards, fault finding and soldering with guidance on electronic and technical matters.
Requalification of staff to IPC standards - the company will support the successful candidate in obtaining their IPC qualification if this has lapsed.
Produce technical training courses, material and content, training schedules and workshop agendas.
Evaluate the effectiveness and achievements of staff.
The person will be an outstanding communicator, with the ability to speak to an audience with experience of training staff in the electronics field. Practical and hands on experience with PCB assembly, fault finding and repair techniques in a previous role. IPC Qualifciation and a formal qualification in Electronics would be desirable.
GBP15,000.00 - GBP16,000.00/annum (full time equivalent GBP27,750.00 - GBP29,600.00)
