Are you a passionate Service Delivery Manager, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Service Delivery Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their Sales team.

As a Service Delivery Manager your role will be to overlook some of the company's top-end contracts to ensure that the agreement is adhered to in terms of KPI's, SLA's and contractual compliance. You will attend in both monthly and weekly reviews with the client in order to monitor best practice and performance levels. In turn this will then support the development of the internal teams to ensure that the service levels are always being met as expected. There will also be the requirement of producing regular IT reports, flow processes and technical data for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Principle Responsibilities for the Service Delivery Manager:-

Ensure adherence to service management principles - ITIL led; Configuration management, problem management, change management, IT helpdesk function, release and version control
Responsible for the development of internal processes to continuously improve the internal service management and support
To ensure contractual obligations are met in terms of the performance provided to the clients
Project manage small enhancements to existing BAU IT infrastructure
Produce reports from complex technical data, including schematics and flow processes, assessing trends for example, and reporting to a non-technical audience.
Tactically manage suppliers in the delivery of service delivery targets, including service review meetings, continuous service improvement meetings, and ad-hoc communications, the success of which directly impacts on the ability of said company to deliver the necessary service to their customers.
To manage and forecast on resource required to meet contractual demand if and where applicable.
Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders responsible for services and incorporate regular site visits with a focus to highlight any changes required with immediate implementation
Have a complete understanding of the company's wide range of service offerings, including associated processes. Fully understand other business functions within services. Where necessary this will involve an element of cross training.
Using technical experience and analytical techniques in problem solving, in situations with complex facts, situationsPerson specification:-

Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Service management capacity
Confident in speaking to clients face to face
Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
Analytical with the ability to write reports
Prior experience of managing people
Education - to A-level/GCSE or equivalent
ITIL Accredited (relevant intermediate modules desired)
Prince 2 (desired)This is a full time permanent position. The hours are Mon-Fri on a 37.5hr week, offering an annual salary of GBP50,000 - GBP55,000per annum plus quarterly bonus. Annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
