Assembly Operative
Location: Hayes
The post holder is responsible for the assembly of various street furniture products performing to high standards of quality. This includes the mechanical assembly and construction of light to medium duty fabricated sheet metal and sectional products.
Responsibilities & Duties:
•Assembly of products using a range of hand tools and machinery.
•To ensure the timely production of all assembly requirements.
•To operate forklift ensuring the load is secure and safe - certified operators only.
•Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner (Hand and power tools).
•To ensure quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
•To maintain a high standard and quality of work.

Qualifications:
Assembly experience
Experience using hand tools, light electrical tools
Ability to follow technical drawings and instruction.
Forklift licence desirable but not essential
Manual handling and COSHH awareness training desirable
Monday to Friday form 8:00 am to 4:40 pm
