Leaders in Care are looking to recruit a Nurse Qualified Deputy Home Manager on behalf of a brand new nursing home, close to the Northallerton area of North Yorkshire. The newly commissioned service currently has 10 residents, and we are looking for an experienced Nurse who would be interested in joining as the Deputy Home Manager.
* To apply for this role, we are looking for an RGN, RMN or RNLD Qualified Nurse with previous elderly care experience. Previous management experience is not essential for this role, as long as you have a passion to develop your skills and experience.
* At present, the role of Deputy Nurse Manager is split between working 22 hours supernumery, and the rest of your week leading on the floor.
* Once the Home has more residents, the deputy post will be fully supernumery, Monday to Friday.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to join a newly established management team and to work within a brand new luxury service. The role will include helping to market the new Home, getting involved with budgets, audits, care plans and medication management.
To apply, you will be an RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered nurse with previous experience working with the elderly, ideally within a nursing home environment. You will have your NVQ Level 4 or 5 or be willing to work towards this in post.
The starting salary is negotiable, and once the Home is established with more residents your package will then also increase.
