Our client is seeking an Assistant Stores Team Leader to work from their stores facility based in Banbury
An Assistant Stores Team Leader is an integral member of the facilities site management team and the wider operations leadership team, with management responsibilities for a high performing Stores Operation Team and encouraging a team culture.
The position will require you to hold an in date Forklift counterbalance licence, which needs to be in date.
* FLT duties, including moving products from stores to production facility, unloading and loading HGV vehicles.
* Ensure stores checks are being done & signed. This includes start up/shut down checklists, packaging checks, incoming goods checks, cleaning checklists and printing product receipt's
* Ensure all staff are following the recommended Allergen controls and processes. Ensure all measurement systems are implemented and maintained as required to meet the changing needs of the business.
* Any other responsibilities as required for the successful operation of the department
* Provide cover for the Stores Team Leader as required.
The company is extremely busy working to meet demand of clients, you will work closely with the Despatch and production teams. This, will be to help provide a positive and supportive environment to work within. To be successful in the role you must have proven experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
* An ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.
* The ideal candidate needs to be pro-active, collaborative, self-starting, and comfortable working individually as well as part of a team as a collaborative and reliable team member.
* Be accurate and concise with their work.
This is a temp to perm position. For the first 2 weeks, the shifts will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. After 2 weeks, you will move on to working 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts 6am to 6pm, weekends will be included. The pay rate will start at GBP9.60 per hour then after 12 weeks of completion on temp will be taken on Permanently and the pay will increase to GBP10.23 per hour.
