Job Description
An renowned family enterprise of over a century , our partner have developed into one of the biggest global logistics suppliers around. With their top of the range products, Airfreight, Seafreight, Road & Rail, and Contract Logistics, they pride themselves on consistently providing simple solutions for varied transportation requirements of their client base and invest in state of the art digital services for utmost transparency and maximising supply chains.
They are presently recruiting for 2 x Bendi Operatives at their state of the art premises in Daventry,Northampton.
Duties to include -
- Loading of Goods in to locations
- Unloading of goods from vehicles
- Vehicle safety checks at commencement and end of shift
- Material handling
- Handling of any relevant paperwork
- Any other reasonable request made by management
Ideal Candidate -
- Will possess an in date bendi licence
- Will have previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Will have a basic understanding of Logistics
- Will be available immediately
- Calm working under pressure
- Pleasant and outgoing personality
- Comfortable working in a team or independently when necessary
- Reliable with a can do attitude
The client has stipulated that they may consider people with an in date counterbalance licence and retrain them on the Bendi at their expense.
This is a temp to perm opportunity with a well established company offering real job security in the testing economic times we currently find ourselves in.
Working Hours:
08.00-17.00 (approx) Mon-Fri
