Location: Based in Nottingham and working across Nottingham city, and in Gedling and Rushcliffe Boroughs

 

We are looking for people to join our Universal Support Help to Claim team. The team provides an effective and efficient support service for first time Universal Credit claimants. The service includes the provision of advice, information and digital support via face-to-face, telephone and digital channels, aimed at helping claimants through to the first payment of Universal Credit. Please note that during the coronavirus lockdown this service is provided by telephone and webchat only, and successful candidates will initially work from home (IT kit will be provided).

This post is currently funded to 31 March 2022 with the possibility that it may be extended for a further year.

 

We need people proficient in IT with effective communication skills. Knowledge and experience of welfare benefits advice is desirable although training will be given.

The Help to Claim service operates Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Successful applicants will work up to 37 hours per week.
