Manufacturing Technician, High Wycombe, GBP14 per hour, 6-month temporary contract to perm:
Are you a Manufacturing Technician, Assembly Technician or Production Technician with experience in electronics and mechanical assembly who is looking for immediate work? Do you enjoy working in complex high technology environments? If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of the world's leading high technology manufacturers for a Manufacturing Technician to join them on a temporary basis, which has the potential to become permanent. The role is working in a busy manufacturing team who build complex scientific instrumentation products, ensuring an effective and efficient operation to meet agreed quality, timescale and cost objectives.
The Person:
We would like to hear from Manufacturing Technician's, Assembly Technicians or Production Technicians who have a desire to develop a career in a high-technology manufacturing environment in addition to the following skills and qualities:
Experience of working within a successful manufacturing team - ideally involving the assembly or build of electro-mechanical products.
Experience of implementing best practise manufacturing techniques
If not experienced in the above, manual dexterity and a practical aptitude is essential
Team player and positive approach
A relevant qualification such as NVQ, BTEC, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering would be of interest.
