Trunk Road Services Supervisor

37hours a week - with the need to work unsocial hours or hours to suit the needs of the Section, including participation in the on-call rota

Salary: Grade 7 - £27,041 - £30,451 per annum

Location: Pencoed Depot, Pencoed, CF35 5NR – with a requirement to work from the Ynysforgan or Goat Mill Road Depot on occasion.

You will have proven experience and qualifications in supervisory skills within an operational service environment. You will hold National Highway Sector Scheme Accreditation in Traffic Management and Vehicle Restraint Systems.

An opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor in the Trunk Road Services section of the SWTRA based in the Welsh Government Highway Depot at Pencoed. You will be responsible for the manual workforce and for organising all aspects of the Operational Services as allocated by the Senior Supervisor and section Manager.

You will be required to ensure that services are carried out to the required standard and in accordance with relevant legislation. You will ensure that Health & Safety work policies are strictly adhered to and monitor the efficient use of resources within the available budget.

Welsh language skills are not necessary.
