Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a permanent HGV Mechanic for our leading Waste Management Client based in Sheffield.
Hours/Salary
Permanent Position
Monday - Friday 7am-5/6pm Saturday on a rota
Overtime, and bonus available
Excellent rate of pay - 6 weeks (28 days) holiday per year this includes the 8 statutory public/bank holidays.

Training and development within the company
Day to Day duties include but not limited to:
Maintenance of our fleet of Skip Loader, RORO, Grab vehicles and company vans.
Vehicle inspections in line with company 'O' Licence
Attending breakdowns as and when necessary
Day to day maintenance and repair of vehicles
Identifying faults
Replacing tyres and doing re-torques
Filling out relevant paperwork
Assisting with plant maintenance and repairs when required
To work independently or as part of a team.
Support colleges when required.
Job Type:
Full-time permanent
Salary: GBP14.00 to GBP16.00 per hour over time at time and half after 40 hours
Requirements
Hold an HGV licence and Driver CPC - Ideal but not essential.
Experience:
Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanic: 5 years (Preferred)
