Warehouse Operative

We are working with a highly regarded food production company based in Harlow who are looking for warehouse operatives to work in their chilled warehouse.

The working week is;

Day Shift Monday to Saturday (1 x roster day during week) from 07.00 to finish (Daily hours may vary, from day to day depending on work load 4hrs minimum)

Night Shift Monday to Friday 21.00 to finish (Finish times vary depending on workload but between 4 and 8 hrs)i

As a Warehouse operative you will be paid GBP8.91ph days and GBP11.88 nights, with overtime paid after 8 hours, which is paid at time and a half. On the occasion of working over 12 hours overtime will be paid at double time.

As a warehouse operative your responsibilities could include.

Picking and Packing of sausages.

Basic butchery , trimming excess fat from meat,

Working on scales weighing ingredients used in the production of sausages.

Overseeing machinery, making sure of the smooth running of the operation.

Boxing, and labelling sausages ready for dispatch.

Keeping work areas clean and tidy, working to company health and safety guidelines.

All PPE is provided free of charge.

Warehouse operatives will receive a comprehensive induction in food health and safety. You must have a high standard of personnel hygiene, as you will be working with a fresh food product.
